The mechanical compressor aggregate is fixed to the rotor of the electrical motor. The Hüttlin-Kugelcompressor® (spherical compressor) is supplied with electrical energy from the grid.During the turning of the electric motor the pistons of the compressor are opened and closed according to the kinematic principle of the Hüttlin spherical engine, whereby intake and exhaust are controlled by means of two automatic valves.Due to the low internal resistance of the system and the low weight of the complete aggregate significant amounts of fuel can be saved in comparison with current technological solutions.
