Contrary to conventional systems it not only produces electricity, but also pressurized air. This pressurized air may be stored in tanks or caverns and can then be used in peak times to generate electricity through the HWH (Hüttlin-Wind Energy-Hybrid). It provides the following advantages when compared with alternative systems: The HWH is significantly smaller than a conventional generator and compressor; and additionally, both systems are inside a single casing.Due to the symmetrical construction, there is very little vibration.
